We offer the following specialized training courses:
Black Seal Boiler Operator
Students will prepare to sit for the NJ Boiler Certification (low pressure Black Seal). The program includes the 90 day internship/externship working with boilers that is required before taking the certification examination.
Black Seal – High Pressure
Students will be trained to operate high-pressure boilers with a water boiler operating at a pressure exceeding 160 psig. or a temperature exceeding 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Internships and externships will be required to gain hands-on experience and to fulfill State requirements.
Building Services Worker
Students learn the latest techniques and methods in the janitorial cleaning industry to provide full facility and specialized cleaning services for commercial office buildings, health care facilities, or private cleaning contracts. Participants are trained to the highest standards through a combination of classroom and hands-on experience.
Building Trades
Students are provided with training in various construction related skills in preparation for employment as Building Trades apprentices.
Commercial Driver's License (Class A, B, A&B)
If you have a valid drivers license, are over 18 years of age, have your current driving history from the Department of Motor Vehicles (driver's license abstract), and are able to pass the Department of Transportation physical, then we can prepare you to pass the state-administered commercial drivers license exam to obtain your Class A, B or A&B license.
